Recruiters Comments: Our client has a state of the art development facility in Limerick and they are now looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team. They would like the Marketing Manager to assist them in promoting them as a top employer among software developers, data analysts and other technical professionals. This is your chance to increase the profile of a major company in the region and assist in building their team with top talent. This is initially a 12 month contract role with an attractive daily rate on offer.

Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Increase the company’s profile as a top employer among software developers, data analysts and other technical professionals
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and communication strategies
  • Create campaigns to share information on the ground breaking work that the development teams are doing
  • Manage internal communications across numerous teams
  • Collect information on the technical employment market and understand the competiveness of the area
  • Track and report on key performance metrics
  • Work alongside key team members to ensure that public message is in line with strategic plan
  • Partner with external parties such as agencies and manage their engagement with the company
  • Provide support to internal communications planning and delivery
  • Develop and improve online presence including websites and social media profiles
  • Create content for website and social media profiles to promote the work that the development teams are doing and the employment opportunities with those teams
  • Select suitable events that are focused on careers and recruitment to promote the company to potential employees
  • Demonstrate excellent reporting skills when providing status updates to stakeholders
  • Manage budget for local projects as appropriate



  • 6+ years’ experience as a marketing professional
  • Experience in a technical environment, understanding the activities of technical professionals and their contribution to the success of a company
  • Strong effective communicator
  • Expert in managing marketing campaigns both through traditional methods and online
  • Excellent campaign tracking and reporting skills
  • Experience promoting a company as a prospective employer would be a plus
