Our Client who provides end-to-end solutions that enable more affordable and accessible technology around the world, empowering people everywhere to do more, is looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer (ASP.Net) to join their team in Limerick. This role would be a 3 month contract.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings unique new challenges and new opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting software according to company’s systems quality standards, policies and procedures.
You will be analysing business needs and creating software solutions. Be responsible for preparing design documentation. Preparing test data for unit, string and parallel testing. Evaluating and recommending software and hardware solutions to meet user needs. Resolving customer issues with software solutions and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
You will also work with business and development teams to clarify requirements to ensure testability. Drafting, revising, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. Executing test procedures according to software requirements specifications. Logging defects and making recommendations to address defects. Retesting software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. Documenting evolution of testing procedures for future replication. You may also conduct performance and scalability testing.
- 8+ years of experience working in Enterprise software development or a related field.
- Experience in Design and implement testing strategies on the codebase, including unit, integration and functional tests
- Participated in Code Reviews and actively drives the quality of the codebase via techniques such as such as SOLID and Test-driven development.
- Strong knowledge of Continuous integration and Delivery techniques
- Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of ASP.Net stack technologies – C#, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server
- Experience and knowledge of working in an Agile/Scrum driven projects
